In Iron Man 3, Rhodes operates the redesigned/upgraded War Machine armor, taking on an American flag-inspired color scheme similar to the Iron Patriot armor from the comics. This was such a shame because War Machine’s only color scheme should be black! This is another reason why I was disappointment with the Iron Man movie: There was not enough War Machine in it! The whole red white and blue theme of Iron Patriot just was not working for me… For all you War Machine fans out there, Hot Toys has created a film accurate version of War Machine Mark II that appeared in Iron Man 3.
