Where was this photo taken?

I personally love the various images on Microsoft Bing’s homepage. That’s why I recently downloaded Bing Desktop. THe application is pretty good although it tends to freezes once in a while. A couple days back, Bing showed me this amazing picture below. It looks to be some island community in Europe or North America. Since then my friends and I have been trying to figure out just where this picture was taken. Since the Internet knows all, I figured that somebody online must know where this image was taken. Does anybody out there know where this image was taken?
