I’ve never had a chance to draw Thanos or Green Lantern, so I was very excited to draw this comic. Overall, the idea was simple: I wanted to contrast Thanos’ 6 infinity gems to Green Lantern’s single ring. In my mind, it was a great comic until a couple friends pointed out the fact that Thanos has Infinity Gems and Green Lantern has a green ring… I was actually about to cancel this comic too but then my daughter, Khadihah, told me “what’s the problem Daddy? The comic is funny. The green lantern is sad because he does not have as many rings as the man from Guardian of the Galaxy”. So once I knew that my 8-year old got the comic, I kept it. In fact, I made 2 version: The original version where the Green Lantern is looking at the audience and a second version where the lantern is looking at his ring. The second version is just below…
