At beginning of this year, my business partner at Benny Crew Studios, Rob had a challenge for me: Lets both make a Star Wars – The Force Awakens poster that is inspired by the end of the movie. We had to draw Luke Skywalker, Rey and Chewbacca, poster style. The poster was supposed to be completed by end of January. And although I had sketched the image, I never actually inked and colored it. But now that I have a panel at the 2016 Montreal ComicCon, I had to create new material. So I actually finished the artwork and I will be presenting it at the Montreal ComicCon along with various iterations of the poster.
Here is the actual poster, featuring Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and both lightsabers

Here is the final rendering of Rey. The tone is a slightly duller and greyish
Here is the first rendering of Rey. The tone was much brighter and contrasted too much against old Luke Skywalker. But my daughter loves this version more.
Here is a rendering of Jewbacca by himself. I never knew how hard it is to draw fur till I had to drew him…
