All of the artwork that I do on this site is done use Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and Wacom tablet. The other day, my 8-year old daughter, Khadijah saw me drawing and said that she wanted to try digitla illustrations. Although she is a pretty good artist, she always draws on paper and she had never used with Photoshop. Within 2 hours, she had mastered the basics of Photoshop and was very much at ease with the Wacom tablet.
She found an image that she loved online, drew a picture, scanned the picture and then finished it with Photoshop and the Wacom tablet. All this took less then 2 hours and she did a fantastic job! Above is her artwork and below is the image she used as inspiration. I’m so proud of my 8-year old digital artist 🙂
